Sharing Memories

Every memory in Memory Murals can be shared with anyone — even people who don't have an account.

How to Share a Memory

1. Open your Timeline and find the memory you want to share
2. Tap the three-dot menu (⋯) on the memory card
3. Tap "Share" to open the share dialog
4. Choose visibility:
   • Public — anyone with the link can view the memory
   • Private — only people with a Memory Murals account can view it
5. Tap "Create share link"
6. Copy the link and send it to anyone

What Shared Memories Look Like

When someone opens your shared link, they see a beautiful branded page with:

• Your name and avatar
• The memory title, date, and category
• Your story/notes text
• All attached photos
• Tagged family members

At the bottom, there's a "Get started free" button that links to signup — with your referral code automatically included. So if someone signs up from your shared memory, you get referral credit!

Managing Shared Links

To see or revoke a shared link:

1. Tap the three-dot menu on a shared memory
2. Tap "Share link" — you'll see the existing link
3. Copy it again or tap "Revoke share link" to permanently disable it

Once revoked, the link stops working immediately. Anyone who visits it will see "Memory not found."

Social Previews

When you paste a Memory Murals share link into iMessage, WhatsApp, Facebook, or any app that supports link previews, it will show:

• The memory title
• A preview of the story text
• The first photo (if attached)

This makes shared links look great when sent in conversations.

Public vs Private Sharing

Choose the option that fits your audience. You can always revoke and re-create a link with different visibility.
