Using the Calendar View
Browse your memories by date using the Calendar tab.
The Calendar view gives you a date-based way to explore your memories. Instead of scrolling through a feed, you can jump straight to a specific day, month, or year.
How to Open Calendar View
Tap the Calendar tab at the bottom of the app. You will see a full month calendar with the current month displayed.
Finding Memories by Date
Dates that have memories attached show a small dot underneath the date number. This makes it easy to scan a month at a glance and see which days have stories.
- Tap any date with a dot to see all the memories from that day
- A list of memories for that date appears below the calendar
- Tap any memory to open it and see the full details
Navigating Between Months
Use the left and right arrows on either side of the month name to move forward or backward one month at a time.
Quick Jump to Any Month
Tap the month/year header (e.g., "March 2026") to open a year picker. This lets you jump to any month and year instantly — no need to tap through dozens of arrows to reach a date from years ago.
When to Use Calendar View
The Calendar view is especially useful when you:
- Remember the approximate date something happened and want to find that memory quickly
- Want to see what happened on a birthday or anniversary across different years
- Are looking for gaps — months or seasons where you have not recorded anything yet
- Want a different perspective than the chronological feed on the Timeline
Tips for Getting the Most Out of It
- Add accurate dates to your memories. The Calendar only works well if memories have the right dates assigned. When creating a memory, take a moment to pick the correct date rather than leaving it as today's date.
- Use it alongside the Timeline. The Calendar and Timeline complement each other. Use the Timeline for browsing and the Calendar for finding specific moments.
The Calendar view turns your memory collection into something you can navigate like a journal — flip to any page and see what story lives there.
