Gifting Memory Murals
Give the gift of preserved memories to someone you love.
Memory Murals is one of the most meaningful gifts you can give. Instead of something that sits on a shelf, you're giving someone the tools to preserve their life story for future generations.
How Gifting Works
- Visit the Gift page — available at memorymurals.com/gift or through the app
- Choose a plan — Monthly ($7.99/mo) or Annual ($79.99/yr)
- Enter the recipient's details — their name and email address
- Complete checkout — you pay through our secure Stripe checkout
- They receive an activation code — sent to their email with instructions to get started
The recipient creates their own private account using the activation code. All their memories, photos, and recordings belong to them — the gifter never has access to the recipient's content.
Billing Note
As the gifter, you pay for the subscription unless the recipient takes over billing. See our Transferring Billing guide for details on how that works.
Popular Occasions for Gifting
- Mother's Day and Father's Day — help a parent start recording their stories
- Grandparent birthdays — capture wisdom and memories before they fade
- Holidays — a thoughtful, personal gift that stands out
- Retirement — a beautiful way to start a new chapter by reflecting on the one just finished
- Milestone birthdays — 50th, 60th, 70th — moments that inspire reflection
What the Recipient Gets
When someone receives a Memory Murals gift, they get the full Premium experience:
- Unlimited memories — no cap on how many stories they can save
- AI-powered features — voice recording, transcription, and smart tools
- 25 GB storage — plenty of room for photos, videos, and documents
- Legacy prompts — guided questions to help them tell stories they might not think to share
- Family tagging — connect memories to the people in them
Tips for Gifters
- Include a personal note explaining why you chose this gift. Something like: "I'd love to hear more of your stories. This is a place to keep them forever."
- Offer to help them get started. Some people need a gentle nudge. Sit with them and help add their first memory together.
- Don't worry about tech skills. The app is designed to be simple. If they can use a smartphone, they can use Memory Murals.
Not Sure About the Email?
Make sure you have the correct email address for the recipient. The activation code is sent directly to their inbox, and they'll need it to set up their account.
A Memory Murals gift says: Your stories matter, and I want to help you keep them.
