AI Summarize
Use AI to polish your memory notes into a well-written entry with one tap.
Sometimes a memory starts as a rough voice transcription or a quick note typed in a hurry. The AI Summarize feature takes your existing notes and polishes them into a well-written, readable entry — while keeping your story and voice intact.
How to Use AI Summarize
Summarize Your Notes
Open a memory with notes
Create a new memory or edit an existing one that already has text in the notes field. This can be a voice transcription or something you typed.
Tap the Sparkles button
Look for the sparkles icon near the notes field. Tap it to send your notes to the AI for polishing.
Review the result
The AI rewrites your notes into a cleaner, more readable version. It preserves all the key details — names, dates, places, emotions — while improving flow and clarity.
Save or adjust
If you're happy with the result, save your memory. If not, you have options (see below).
Your Options After Summarizing
After the AI rewrites your notes, you have three choices:
Keep it
The polished version looks great — just save your memory as-is.
Regenerate
Tap the refresh icon to get a different version. The AI will rewrite it again with a slightly different approach.
Undo
Tap the undo button to revert to your original notes. Nothing is lost — your original words are always recoverable.
Your original words are always safe
AI Summarize never permanently replaces your notes. You can always undo to get back to exactly what you wrote or said. Think of it as a helpful editor, not a replacement for your voice.
When to Use Summarize
- After a long voice recording — the transcription might be rambling or include filler words. Summarize cleans it up into something you'd be proud to re-read.
- Quick notes you want to expand — if you jotted down "Grandpa's story about the war, the one with the dog," Summarize can turn that seed into a fuller entry.
- Before sharing or revisiting — when you want a memory to read beautifully, not just capture the raw details.
What Summarize Doesn't Do
The AI won't invent details that aren't in your notes. It works only with what you've provided — restructuring, cleaning up language, and improving readability. If important details are missing from your original notes, add them before summarizing.
Requires Premium or Trial
AI Summarize is available on the Premium and Trial plans. On the Free plan, you can still write and edit your notes manually — the feature becomes available when you upgrade.
One tap to go from rough notes to a polished story. It's one of the simplest ways to make your memories shine.
