Getting Started with Legacy

Legacy is your private space for telling your life story — one prompt at a time. Instead of staring at a blank page, Legacy gives you thoughtful questions that unlock stories you might not think to share on your own.

Where to Find Legacy

Tap the Legacy tab at the bottom of the app. You'll see a collection of guided prompts organized by theme — childhood memories, grandparents, milestones, life lessons, and more.

How It Works

Legacy works like a guided autobiography. Each prompt asks you a specific question about your life:

• "What was your favorite meal growing up?"
• "What's the best advice someone ever gave you?"
• "Describe a moment that changed the way you see the world."

There are 50 prompts covering a wide range of topics. You don't need to answer them in order — pick whatever speaks to you in the moment.

Why Legacy Matters

Most of us carry dozens of stories that our families have never heard. Legacy helps you surface those stories with gentle, specific questions. Over time, your answers build into a rich personal history that your loved ones will treasure.

Getting Started

1. Open the Legacy tab in the app
2. Browse the prompts — scroll through and find one that resonates
3. Tap a prompt to open it and start writing or recording your answer
4. Save your answer — it's stored securely in your account

You can answer as many or as few prompts as you like. There's no schedule and no pressure. Some people answer one a week; others sit down and answer several at once. The pace is entirely up to you.
